Students of Vignan University, Guntur. designed a drone that can help local farmers in sowing seeds and spray fertilizers in the field. Chairman of Vignan University Lavu Rataiah visited the department to have a glance of Drone.
The following students designed the Drone:

- Abhinaya and
- Rajashekar
Students explained about the project. They said that “The Drone can split the seeds in an acre in just 15 minutes. This saves the time of a farmer instead of spending 2 to 3 hours for splitting seeds manually. A sum of Rs.8000 has been spent for designing this Drone. This Drone will be very useful for farmers which reduce manpower. With the help of Drone, farmers can fast up their cultivation as the time is being saved for splitting the seeds. Prof.Suman Chowdary has been guiding us for the past two months and finally we have made it”.
University Chairman congratulated the students for their exceptional project. He assured support and cooperation from management side for taking this project to the ministry of agriculture. Students thanked the management of University for their support and encouragement. They also thanked Prof.Suman, project guide for his unending cooperation and support.
