Mr Sanjay Kothari, who is a senior IAS officer and Secretary to President Ram Nath Kovind, said the key to success in the UPSC Civil Services examination for IAS is choosing the right subjects. He addressed the students at the Dynamite News UPSC Conclave 2019. The topic of the Conclave was- ‘How to Crack Civil Services Exam?’
The conclave witnessed the presence of eminent UPSC personalities like Ira Singhal (1st Rank holder in UPSC 2015), KR Nandini (1st Rank Holder in 2017) and Anu Kumari (2nd Rank Holder in 2018). They were present as the key speakers in the UPSC Conclave
Ms Ira Singhal ( UPSC Rank 1 in 2015) suggested the students to start preparing for UPSC after graduation as it is more beneficial. She added that a good command over the language of one’s medium is very important.
Ms Nandini (Rank in 2017) motivated the aspirants by saying that the lack of confidence can be overcome by hard work and one should never lose his/her heart. While answering a question Ms Anu Kumari (Rank 2 in 2018) suggested students not to depend fully on IAS Coaching Centres. Preparing with devotion and sincerity can help one to crack UPSC to become an IAS.

Aspirants from various states like Kerala, Andra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Maharashtra, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana attended the conclave on Sunday.
