LLB Students from Sri Venkateswara University have been waiting for the results of the examinations that was conducted over seven months ago in August 2018. The exam administration has been taking their own time for releasing the results of more than 1,500 LLB students who have been studying LLB at SVU and its affiliated colleges.
The delay in the declaration of the results has denied some of the LLB students in pursuing their future plans. Some of the LLB students had wished to take admission in the LLM course of 2018-19. There were some students who had wished to take admission in the AP Bar Council which was also denied to them due to the delay in the announcement of the results.
Sources have stated that the LLB students had appeared for the second, fourth and the final semester exams last year in August, for which the results have been delayed. The SVU exam administration has announced that the evaluation of the exam papers has been completed. They also stated that an IT company, Bharath IT Innovations were responsible for compiling and generating the mark list, which is currently pending.

In October 2018, the former Vice-Chancellor of the Sri Venkateswara University, Damodaram had resigned from his post and moved to Hyderabad. Ever since his resignation, no one from the administration from the University has taken up the responsibility for checking up on the matter or even resolve it. The LLB students have been part of a blame game between the varsity’s exam administration and the IT company. Sources say that the evaluation of the papers had slowed down when the LLB students had started protesting against the IT company. This issue of the University delaying the announcement of the result is not the first time that has happened. The same issue had risen in the delay of the declaration of the results that had taken place for the examinations that were conducted in August 2017 .
