The admissions to Tamil Nadu undergraduate courses of AYUSH and Homeopathy are to be made based on UG NEET marks from the current academic year. Students who have appeared for NEET-UG will be eligible for these courses.
The admission to AYUSH and Homeopathy undergraduate courses in Tamil Nadu will be done on the basis of NEET. Recently, DIPR has issued a press release notifying that the candidates who have passed their 12th examination and have a valid score in NEET can apply for admission to the respective courses.
The press release further notified that the distribution of forms will start from Wednesday, 28th August 2019. The last date for the submission of the application form is 13th September 2019. Candidates can also fill online form for Tamil Nadu Homeopathy and other Indian Medical Course Admissions by logging into the web portal of tnhealth.org .

The students who are applying online must download the admission application form from the website and take a printout of the same. After printing the application form, the candidate has to fill the form similarly as per the offline application process and submit the form in the previously mentioned date.

Tamil Nadu AYUSH courses include Ayurveda , Yoga & Naturopathy , Unani , Siddha , and Homeopathy. Ayurveda and Homeopathy courses are the most popular in Indian Medicine. AYUSH Ministry has been set up recently to regulate and manage the traditional medicinal practices of India. The AYUSH Ministry will work towards promoting Indian Medicine and to improve the quality of education. It will also help the students to find relevant internship and job opportunities.
