After experiencing heavy rainfall for the past 3-4 days, Tamil Nadu weather seems to have improved and no alerts have been issued for Thursday, 19 December. The Tamil Nadu School Holiday 19 December 2024 is unlikely as the India Meteorological Department, Chennai clears all doubts in the latest update. The state is under no alert for 19 December and so, all schools and educational institutions shall continue with classes as usual. However, in case of any changes in the weather or any updates from the education department regarding school holidays, the same shall be notified to the students and parents accordingly. However, since there is no sign of any expected heavy rainfall for December 19, students are advised to prepare to continue with classes without any hindrance. Hence, all parents and students shall follow the latest updates by IMD and the government here.

Since the past few days, the weather in Tamil Nadu has been unstable and has experienced heavy rainfall. Districts which have been most affected were declared as holidays for schools and educational institutes.
However, considering the gradual improvement in the weather, the Tamil Nadu School Holiday 19 December 2024 shall not be expected as December 18 was also not declared a holiday.
Further, schools or institutions that are under waterlogging or have experienced damage due to heavy rainfall may remain closed due to maintenance issues, which shall be conveyed directly to the students and parents of the respective institutes.
