TANCET 2022 application process will be started from today and the last date of applying for the exam is April 18, 2022. To avoid the last minute hassle, the candidates are advised to fill the application form beforehand.
NEW DELHI: TANCET 2022 registration process has commenced in online mode. To fill the TANCET application form 2022, candidates have to visit the official website of Anna University, tancet.annauniv.edu. Before applying for the TANCET exam, candidates should meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by authorities. The eligibility requirements vary for both MCA and ME/M.Tech/M.Plan/ M.Arch courses.
Earlier, authorities released the dates related to registration via a notification dated March 28, 2022. As per the exam dates, TANCET exam will be conducted from May 14 to May 15, 2022.

TANCET 2022 eligibility
Before the candidates fill the TANCET application form, they should have a clear knowledge about the eligibility criteria:
MBA eligibility criteria:
- A 3 year’s Bachelor’s degree and should obtain 50% in degree examination (for SC/ST/SCA/MBC/BCM candidates the score is 45%)
- 10 + 2 + 3 / 4 /5 years pattern, or,
- 10 + 3 years diploma + 3 years pattern, or,
- 10 + 2 + B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. / B.Pharm., or,
- 10 + 2 + AMIE, or,
- 10 + 3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE
MCA eligibility criteria:
- A 3 year’s Bachelor’s degree in B.Sc or BCA (Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent)
- A 3 years course with Mathematics at 10+2 level
- The candidates should obtain 50% at graduation level (45% in BC, BCM, SC, SCA, MBC, ST candidates) in the degree course
- 10 + 2 + 3 / 4 / 5 years pattern, or,
- 10 + 3 years diploma + 3 years Pattern, or,
- 10 + 2 + AMIE, or,
- 10 + 3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE
ME/M.Tech/ M.Arch/ M.Plan eligibility criteria:
- A 3 year’s Bachelor’s degree and should obtain 50% in degree examination (for SC/ST/SCA/MBC/BCM candidates the score is 45%)
- B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. Degree Programmes, or,
- B.Pharm., or,
- 10 + 2 + AMIE, or,
- 10 + 3-year diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE
TANCET Registration Fee 2022
Candidates can fill the TANCET 2022 application form online only. Along with the TANCET application form, the candidates have to upload a good quality recently taken photograph. Before submitting the application form, the candidates have to pay Rs 800 application fees (Rs 400 for the SC/ST candidates).
What is TANCET exam?
Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is a state level exam, which is held by Anna University once in a year. The candidates interested to take admission to the PG courses, can appear for the TANCET exam 2022.
