TSCHE or The Telangana State Council of Higher Education has started an online skill development course ‘Career Skill Vantage programme’. According to the state, the course will help students in increasing their employability. This course is offered to the students at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and even to the graduates free of cost.
This course will be available to approximately 4 lakh students across 1500 institutes of higher education in Telangana from this academic year. The learning will be self-paced and the course can be accessed anytime, anywhere and on any device. It is being offered in partnership with TCS-ion. Each module of this course, except the last, includes a case study and a video. Students will need to appear for a pre and post-assessment test to see if their course objectives are being met or not.

The course will train the candidates in both hard and soft skills from an IT foundation course and will also help them with tips regarding how to crack corporate interviews. It will also teach students email etiquettes and how to make a presentation. The course has 11 different modules. It is available in English language and has 10 hours on a weekly basis for two weeks. Once the candidates clear this course, they will get a certificate.
Similarly, GetCetGo, a free online crash course was launched by the Karnataka government to help the students prepare for KCET and NEET during the lockdown. The course can be accessed by the students free of cost.
