Telangana TRT Records 100% Attendance in Several Test Centres

  • Telangana TRT evokes a good response from the aspirants and records 100% attendance at few centres.
  • So far, 53,435 candidates have appeared for the exam and 28,619 candidates appeared in English medium.
Telangana TRT Records 100% Attendance in Several Test Centres

For the first time, Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) recorded 100% attendance for Telangana Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) in several exam centres across the state. Out of 57,464 candidates registered for TRT SGT (Secondary Grade Teacher) Telugu medium, 53,435 candidates appeared for the exam in 86 centres.

On the other hand, a total number of 28,619 candidates appeared for TRT SGT English medium out of 29,334 registered candidates. Compared to the previous years, the total number of candidates who skipped the exam is declined. The exam for SGT Telugu medium took place in the morning session, while the exam for SGT English medium took place from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.

TSPSC conducted the TRT examination in a fair manner without any issues. Special squads were appointed to inspect the exam centres. The exam for SA (School Assistants) began on February 26, 2018. The TRT SA exam is being conducted in online mode (Computer-Based Test).

According to the official data of TSPSC, over 6,895 candidates have registered for English subject in HMDA (Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority) limits, while 4,912 registered for Mathematics and Social Studies, 2,519 for Mathematics and 2,393 for Social Studies . Awareness on Computer-Based Recruitment Test was created by TSPSC through mock tests.

Qualifying TRT is mandatory for all the candidates to be eligible for the appointment of SGT or SA posts in government schools across the state. However, the appointment will be based on the merit and the number of vacancies available in the respective district.
