Times School has launched a PG Diploma in Digital Media and has started with the application process for the same. The programme is a skill-based programme that the students will be pursuing at the Times School of Media in order to become the future digital marketers and the storytellers of the digital world.
The School comes under Bennette University and was set up by the largest Indian Media Company in India, i.e. Times Group. Times School of Media is slowly becoming one of the top media schools in the country.
The curriculum for the postgraduate diploma course has been designed in such a way that the students will be receiving practical as well as theoretical knowledge. However, sources state that the curriculum focuses majorly on the practical implementations by the students. Sources also state that the curriculum was designed by some of the experienced members of the Times group such as the top Times Internet Editors. The curriculum will focus on teaching the students how to use social media platforms to spread breaking news as well as many other facets of media on the internet such as creating content that can be read on all devices as well as being able to write narratives that are 1,500 words long. The students will also be taught how to shoot videos from their mobiles and make them exciting and entertaining as well along with many other activities.

The main goal of the programme is to convert the students to people who are able to work across the various fields in the industry of media and journalism. After the students complete the course, they will be able to take up tasks such as content management, digital content creation, be able to use search engine optimisations as well as learn different techniques and concepts of digital marketing.

All the candidates who wish to take admission in the postgraduate programme in Digital media, offered by the Times School of Media, they will have to ensure that they have completed their graduation. The admission into the programme will be done via an online entrance test that will be conducted by the Times School of Media. The online Entrance test will be conducted to check the proficiency of the candidate in the English language. The competition for getting into the institution will be high as there are 30 seats on offer.
