Candidates must note that whatever the total seat intake, the admission will be based on the seat reservations set for each category. Overall, the seats reserved for the Government Quota is 7.5%. In other words, 319 seats will be filled by all government medical colleges collectively. Out of these 319 seats, 16 seats are reserved for SMC Chennai.
