DTE Tamil Nadu will release TNEA 2022 rank list on August 16, and the General counselling will begin on August 25. Check the revised schedule of TNEA 2022 counselling.
Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu has released the official date for the announcement of the TNEA rank list 2022. As per the latest schedule published on tneaonline.org, DTE Tamil Nadu will release the rank list for admission in B.Tech courses on August 16. With the latest announcement, the speculations on the TNEA rank list date ended. As per the previous schedule, the rank list was expected on August 8.

List of Changes Implemented in TNEA Counselling 2022
This year, DTE has implemented some new changes in TNEA counselling 2022. The major changes are as follows -
- This year, candidates who are not satisfied with the seat allotment in Round 1 can choose to participate in Round 2 by opting for the ‘Upgrade’ option
- Candidates can also accept the seat allocated in Round 1 and participate in Round 2 by choosing the ‘Upgrade’ option. If a better seat allotment is made in Round 2, the seat allocated in Round 1 gets cancelled
- Candidates who fail to accept the seat allotment within the specified deadline must note that their seat allotment will be cancelled, and such candidates will not be allowed to participate in the further rounds of the counselling process
