The authority released TNEA Round 2 tentative allotment result before 10 AM on the official website- tneaonline.org. Candidates who were allotted a seat via round 2 should confirm it between August 13 and 14, 2024 (up to 5 PM) , if satisfied. Based on the confirmation, the authority will release TNEA Round 2 provisional seat allotment result for acceptance on August 15, 2024.

What after TNEA Round 2 Tentative Allotment 2024?
Candidates who will be allotted a seat via the TNEA Round 2 tentative allotment as per their preferences, should confirm the seat on or before August 14, 2024 (till 5 PM). Also, the candidates who will not be satisfied with the round 2 seat allotment result, should select the decline and upward option and wait for the next round of allotment. If the candidates fail to confirm the same, then the allotment will be auto-freezed and there will be no probable changes in the provisional seat allotment round.
On the other hand, if the candidates are satisfied with the seat allotment but want to upgrade the allotment in the higher order, should wait for the “accept and upward” option. As per the schedule, the round 2 TNEA provisional seat allotment result will be released on August 1, 2024, before 10 AM based on the confirmation received from the candidates.
