Top companies have taken part in the campus placement programme at Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi and Kolkata . This year, there has been a remarkable increase in the placements and the companies which dominated the placement season are ITC, HUL, Shell, Nestle, Goldman Sachs, Google, City Bank, Amazon and Deloitte.

One of the officials of IIFT mentioned that the institute saw a good turnout of summer placements where 288 MBA (International Business) students of 2016-18 batch bagged jobs in top companies. Around 60% of the students of this batch were offered a six-figure stipend. This year, the average stipend offered is Rs. 1.24 lakh. Last year, it was Rs. 1.10 lakh. Tata Group made a total of 16 offers.

IIFT was set up by the government to promote country’s foreign trade management and increase exports by developing human resources.
