Indian School of Business has crossed all its earlier records. This year, 19 of its researchers have received offers from highly ranked universities for PhD programmes. ISB earlier had a record of an average of 12 from the past five years.
Students have been offered admissions from top notch universities located in United States, Europe and Southeast Asia.
Some of the Universities who have made the offer include:

- Columbia University
- Northwestern University
- INSEAD (Singapore campus)
- Bocconi University
- University College London
- Hong Kong University of Science & Technology
- University of Pennsylvania.
Sanjay Kallapur, director of the Fellow Programme in Management ISB said that they have always given importance to research and has made that an important part while building a research ecosystem.
Considering the data from the past 5 years, more than 55 research associates have been sent by ISB to leading PhD programmes abroad.
The research associates and academic associates at ISB have to go through a rigorous process of selection procedure. Most of them have passed out from top notch institutes such as IIMs , IITs , Delhi School of Economics , Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research , Tata Institute of Social Sciences , BITS Pilani , Indian Statistical Institute and JNU.
Many have graduated from abroad from institutes like University of Cambridge, London School of Economics and Stanford University. Also some have experience working in companies like Microsoft and Infosys.
These researchers further work with a faculty member at ISB.
