Toughest Shift of JEE Main April 2024 Session 2: As the National Testing Agency conducts the JEE Main exam in multiple shifts, there is a possibility for the varied difficulty level of the question paper. NTA makes efforts to maintain a similar difficulty level of the JEE Main question paper across all the shifts but there are always instances of varied difficulty level over the years. For instance, during Session 1 of JEE Main 2024, many students said that the January 27th Shift 1 and 2 were tougher than other shifts. JEE Main April 2024 (Session 2) takes place in 10 shifts, and student reviews along with expert opinions are considered to figure out which shift was toughest in the Session 2 exam. Students must note that the below analysis is purely based on the responses received from students who appeared for the exam. NTA follows the normalization process for declaring the results to make sure that no student gets affected due to the non-consistent difficulty level across different shifts.

JEE Main Student Opinions on Toughest Shift of JEE Main 2024

  • According to Rahul from Maharashtra who appeared for the exam on April 6, 2024 (Shift 1) indicated that the paper was moderate to tough (above average) in terms of difficulty level. He felt that the Mathematics section consumed a lot of time.
  • Aditi from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh who appeared on April 4 Shift 2 found the overall question paper to be moderate. She also added that Physics and Chemistry were Moderate whereas Mathematics was difficult.
  • Parth Chaturvedi from Kota, Rajasthan who appeared on April 5 Shift 1 found the question paper to be Moderate and Mathematics to be difficult compared to physics and chemistry
  • Ujjwal Jaiswal from Banaras appeared on April 4 Shift 2 reviewed the question paper to be Difficult. He also added that Mathematics and Chemistry both subjects were difficult.
  • Gopi from Telangana who appeared for April 5 Shift 2 found the question paper to be difficult whereas the Mathematics was more difficult compared to other subjects
  • Ranjan Kumar from Bhagalpur, Bihar who appeared on April 6 Shift 1 found the question paper to be Moderate. As per the feedback, both chemistry and mathematics were difficult.
  • Anil Dumal from Wardha Maharashtra who appeared on April 6 Shift 2 found the overall difficulty level of the question paper to be Moderate to Difficult where he found Chemistry to be difficult and Maths to be lengthy
  • One of the candidates from Andhra Pradesh who appeared on April 5 Shift 2 found the question paper to be tough where Maths and Chemistry was more difficult
  • Anshul Arora from Delhi who appeared on April 4 Shift 2 found the question paper to be Moderate. As per the review received Mathematics was difficult followed by chemistry and physics.
  • Anand Singh from Uttar Pradesh appeared for the exam on April 5 Shift 2 and reviewed the overall difficulty level of the question paper to be difficult. He also added that the Mathematics section was tough.
  • One of the candidte who appeared for the April 4 Shift 1 exam reviewed the question paper to be moderate to difficult. As per the review received Maths and Physics were more difficult than other subjects
  • A candidate from West Bengal who appeared for the exam on April 4 Shift 1 found the question paper to be Moderate to Difficult where the Mathematics was Difficult and the section was lengthy.
  • Hira Saha from Jharkhand appeared on April 6 Shift 2 and found the question paper to be Moderate. Also as per the review received the Chemistry was more difficult
  • Sathwik Pavan from Andhra Pradesh appeared for the April 6 Shift 1 and found the question Paper to be Moderate where the Mathematics section was difficult compared to other subject
  • Neeraj Nair who appeared on April 4 Shift 1 2024 found the question paper to be moderate where the Mathematics and Physics sections was more difficult
  • R Sekhar from Andhra Pradesh appeared for the exam on April 6 Shift 1 and found the question paper to be difficult. As per the review received Physics and Chemistry were more difficult than other subjects
  • As per the review received from Abhishek from Delhi who appeared on April 6 Shift 2 the overall difficulty level of the question paper was difficult and Mathematics and Physics were the toughest
  • One of the candidates who appeared on Shift 1 on April 8 reviewed the overall difficulty level of the question paper to be Moderate to Difficult where he found mathematics to be more difficult than other subjects.
