Entrance examination date of Tripura JEE 2017 has been rescheduled to May 3-4, 2017.
Entrance examination dates of Tripura JEE 2017 have been rescheduled by Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination. Candidates appearing from the Tripura JEE 2017 will have to appear for the test on May 3- 4, 2017.

Previously the board scheduled Tripura JEE 2017 examination for 26th April for Physics and Chemistry, while the Mathematics paper was supposed to be held on 27th April. But in the wake of XII Bengali paper of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) clashing with Tripura JEE’s Mathematics paper, the examination had to be rescheduled.
An official of Tripura JEE Board said that the schedule of Tripura Joint Entrance Examination for the year 2017 has been deferred due to unavoidable reasons. After the revision of the schedule of Tripura JEE, the date for answer key release and receiving feedback on the answer key will also be postponed. But the board has not released any other dates. These dates will be announced later on in the due course of time.

For appearing in Joint Entrance Examination for Tripura, the eligibility criteria are -
- Indian citizen residing in Tripura for more than 10 years and having Permanent Resident of Tripura Certificate (PRTC)
- Children of All India Services Officers from Manipur-Tripura cadre and State Government employee posted outside Tripura can appear for the exam irrespective of their prior stay in Tripura
- Must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
- Children of defence personnel hailing from Tripura and serving in India Army, Navy and Airforce can appear for the examination.
