Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad has announced the schedule of Telangana EAMCET (TS-EAMCET) 2017 on February 20, 2017. The examination is being conducted to fill engineering and agriculture seats in various colleges across the state. JNTU-Hyderabad is the exam conducting authority of TS-EAMCET 2017.

Y.Yadaiah, Convener of TS-EAMCET 2017 explained that the official notification for TS-EAMCET 2017 would be released on February 27, 2017, and the examination will be conducted in an offline mode. He also clarified that the admissions for AYUSH courses are likely to be NEET based. However, until the confirmation from the central government is received, admission to AYUSH courses will be EAMCET based.

This year, there will be 25% weightage for intermediate marks. Therefore, while declaring the ranks, the marks in intermediate will also be taken into consideration.
He also assured that the counselling process will be completed by June 2017, and the academic year will commence from July 2017. Three new test centres have been added in Telangana and one regional central from Andhra Pradesh, i.e., Kurnool has been scrapped.
TS-EAMCET 2017 examination will take place in 20 test centres across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Vijayawada, Tirupati and Vishakhapatnam are the three test centres for TS-EAMCET 2017 in Andhra Pradesh.
