TS Government to Conduct EAMCET 3 on September 11

The Telangana Government cancelled the EAMCET 2 due to the leakage of question paper. The CID of Telangana confirmed the paper leakage on 31-July-2016. The Chief Minister of Telangana, Mr. Chandrashekara Rao after a cabinet meeting decided to cancel the EAMCET 2 examination. The official announcement was initially decided to make on 1-August-2016. Finally, the government released the schedule for EAMCET 3 examination on 2-August-2016.

The EAMCET 3 examination will be conducted on 11-September-2016 . Most of the parents and students expressed dissatisfaction over the decision of Telangana government. Around 50,000 aspirants appeared for the EAMCET 2 exam which was held on 9-July-2016. The students who got fewer marks in EAMCET 1 secured top ranks in EAMCET 2. The CBI confirmed that around 100 students are involved in the paper leak. The CBI has arrested the brokers and main culprits who were involved in this scam.

The Chief Minister requested the parents to understand the situation and cooperate with the government for the smooth conduct of EAMCET 3. However, parents were not satisfied with the decision of the government. They questioned the government on how many exams their children have to take. They opined that the government can cancel the ranks of those students who were involved in this scam rather than conducting a re-exam.
