Kakatiya University has released the schedule for Telangana Law Common Entrance Test or TS-LAWCET 2017. The schedule for TS-PGLCET has also been released and both the schedules are similar. Kakatiya University is the exam conducting authority for TS-LAWCET. It is an entrance examination that is conducted for the admission of qualifying candidates to three-year LLB and five-year LLB course. However, TS-LAWCET / PGLCET 2017 official notification will be released on February 28, 2017.

R. Sayanna, Vice-Chancellor of Kakatiya University confirmed that the upper age limit for three-year LLB course would be 30 years and for five-year LLB course, it will be 20 years. He indicated that the age limit has been implemented as per the decision taken by the Bar Council of India on September 17, 2017.
TS-LAWCET 2017 application fee for General Category is Rs. 350 and Rs. 250 for SC/ST students. The examination will be paper and pen based, i.e., offline mode. The varsity clarified that there will be no online exam for TS-LAWCET 2017.
