State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Telangana has announced that the results for Telangana Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TS-POLYCET) 2017 will be released on May 5, 2017. SBTET conducted the TS-POLYCET 2017 examination successfully on April 22, 2017. The answer key for TS-POLYCET 2017 examination will be released on or before April 30, 2017.
TS-POLYCET 2017 was conducted by SBTET, Telangana for the admission to Diploma in engineering courses in various government and private polytechnics across the state. This year, 1,27,689 candidates appeared for TS-POLYCET 2017 examination.

TS-POLYCET 2017 was conducted in an offline mode. After taking the examination, most of the students were of the opinion that the paper was easy. However, some students gave a mixed response and indicated that the Physics section was difficult and the questions were mostly logical. Chemistry part was easy and Mathematics was moderate.
The implementation of Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation up to Class 10 changed the entire pattern of examination. Apart from all the subjects, Physics turned out to be very difficult for Class 10 students. The difficulty level affected the students who took TS-POLYCET 2017 examination.

The schedule for counselling and other details will be published on the official website after the declaration of TS-POLYCET 2017 results. Usually, SBTET conducts web-based counselling and there will be more competition for government polytechnics. The fee for government polytechnic colleges will be around Rs. 4000 per annum and the fees for private polytechnic colleges will be around Rs. 13,000 per annum.
