TSCHE and Pittsburgh University Sign MoU

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Pittsburgh for exploring academic cooperation between Universities in Telangana and the University of Pittsburgh.

TSCHE and Pittsburgh University Sign MoU

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education and Pittsburgh University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) recently in Hyderabad to increase cooperation and development in the academic field in the state in collaboration with the foreign university. The officials of the University of Pittsburgh comprising of Dr Ariel Armony, Dr Arjang A Assad, Dr Joseph S Alter, and Joseph M Katz called on the chief secretary of TSCHE Dr S K Joshi, Dr. Rajiv Sharma, Chief Advisor of the Government of Telangana and B. Janardhan Reddy, the secretary of education on 9th May.

The delegations highly praised the initiatives that are being taken by the state government for the overall development of higher education in the state of Telangana. The Pittsburgh delegates have assured to assist and cooperate for higher education openings and partnership networks between the state government of Telangana and the University of Pittsburgh. They already expressed that they hope that the initiative will be beneficial for imbibing the entrepreneurial and academic attitude within the students.

The MoU is signed with the general aim of facilitating and stimulating the collaborative academically beneficial programmes for the common interest of both sides which will eventually help develop the academic and intellectual life in the state of Telangana. Both the entities look forward to extended international collaborations in the future.

The University of Pittsburgh is a highly acclaimed university which has done remarkable work in the field of medical, engineering, management and education. The university has a very old legacy and was established in 1787.
