JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University) has changed two of its exam centres for JNU Entrance Exam to be conducted in December 2017. An examination centre in Shillong has been shifted to Guwahati. Similarly, the examination centre in Srinagar has been shifted to Jammu. According to sources, the exam centres has been shifted after Kendriya Vidyalaya authorities stated its concerns over weather conditions and logistical difficulties. Moreover, the authorities of these centres are not ready to hold JNU Entrance Exam in December 2017.
The authorities of JNU will inform the candidates of these centres regarding the change. In 2017 over one-lakh candidates, will appear for JNUEE, which is scheduled to take place between December 23 and December 27, 2017 .

JNU has earmarked a total number of 81 examination centres in different towns and cities across India.
Even though JNU Entrance Exam for the academic session 2018-19 will take place in December 2017, the results of the same will be announced in April 2018. The admission process will begin only in July 2018. Currently, the varsity is in the last stage of making arrangements for the smooth conduct of JNU Entrance Exam. With an objective to regulate the malpractices during the entrance exam, the authorities have appointed flying squads.
The authorities of JNU will also depute over 200 teaching and non-teaching staff at all the examination centres. JNU is conducting the entrance exam in advance for the first time. Now, the aspirants have almost one month to prepare for JNU Entrance Exam effectively.
