Yesterday i.e. 20th July’ 16 UGC short for University Grants Commission announced that the Aadhaar Card number is very important for students who wish to apply for any UGC scholarship or fellowship.
UGC issued a public notice stating that any student who will apply for UGC fellowship or scholarship will have to provide the Aadhaar number.
According to this process, the document details will be used as an identifier for availing further benefits of the University Grants Commission scholarship and fellowship schemes.
Application forms are requested to be updated by the students who has already filled and submitted the application forms for the year 2017-2018.
