UGC NET has been conducted on 24th September 2020 in two shifts: Shift 1 and Shift 2. There are two papers for UGC NET 2020 exam: Paper 1 and paper 2. While paper 1 is compulsory for all the candidates, Paper 2 is subject-specific, depending on the subject as opted by the candidates. As per the students, the paper was neither too tough nor too easy. The difficulty level was moderate and students who prepared well were able to attempt all the questions. There were a lot of questions from Research and Teaching Aptitude.

UGC NET 2020 Exam Schedule/ Timings
The UGC NET 2020 exam will be conducted in two shifts: Shift 1 and Shift 2. Each shift will be for a total of 180 minutes (3 hours). The first shift will be conducted from 9.00 AM to 12.00 PM and the second shift will be conducted from 3.00 PM to 6.00 PM.
UGC NET 2020 Exam Day Guidelines
The candidates who are appearing for UGC NET 2020 exam will have to keep in mind the following instructions:
All the candidates must follow the social distancing rule.
No crowd will be allowed at one specific place.
The candidate must visit the exam center at least before half n hour.
No candidates will be allowed to leave the exam before instructed by the instructor.
The candidate must dump the rough work sheet and mask in a dustbin at the exam centre before leaving the exam hall.
