UGC NET December 2023 Result Release Time (Image Credits: Pexels)UGC NET December 2023: As per the earlier notice by the National Testing Agency, the results for UGC NET 2023 December session were to be published on January 10, 2024. However, due to the occurrence of Cyclone Michaung in Chennai and Andhra Pradesh, a re-exam was conducted. Hence, UGC NET December 2023 result will now be released on January 17, 2024 .
In regards to the same, the agency published a press note on X, formerly Twitter, which reads, "NTA announced in the Information Bulletin that the result of UGC-NET December 2023 will be declared on 10th January 2024 but due to Natural Calamity (Michaung) in Chennai and Andra Pradesh, Re-Exam was conducted in the interest of candidates. Therefore, the Final Result of the aforementioned examination."

What After UGC NET December 2023 Result Announcement?
Once the results are out, the applicants need to download the scorecard from the official website using their credentials. Next, the qualified candidates will be provided with a link to download the eligibility certificates for UGC NET Dec 2023. Although, holding a UGC NET Eligibility Certificate does not ensure any employment or appointment at the post of Asst. Professor or Junior Research Fellowship in any of the affiliated universities. The selected candidates will become eligible to apply in any of the recruitments for various universities in the coming year.
