UGC NET June 2024 Exam Cancelled due to IrregularitiesUGC NET June 2024 Cancelled: The Ministry of Education confirmed that the UGC NET June 2024 exam was conducted on June 18. The Ministry felt that the sanctity of the exam was compromised . The Ministry received inputs from the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre. According to these inputs, the integrity of the UGC NET exam 2024 has been compromised. The ministry has further handed over the matter to the Central Bureau of Investigation for a thorough investigation. Almost 9 lakh candidates appeared for the UGC NET 2024 exam on June 18. The exam was conducted offline (OMR-based) after 4 years. The Ministry did not announce the fresh exam dates for UGC NET June 2024 , and the candidates need not worry as the exam will be conducted as soon as possible.

There were no irregularities in the UGC NET exam in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023, as the exam was conducted in a Computer-based format. As of now, the Minister has not given clarity on what kind of irregularities took place in the UGC NET June 2024 exam. As per sources, the question paper of UGC NET June 2024 circulated on various social media platforms before the exam, and there were doubts about the question paper leak.
NTA has been in the limelight for the past few days due to the NEET controversy, and now UGC NET June 2024 added fuel to the fire. These two exams were conducted by NTA in offline mode, and there were irregularities in both exams. However, the Ministry of Education confirmed that it took all measures to do justice for the NEET candidates.
