UGC NET Result 2021 has been released on February 19. The result will be available on the official website of UGC NET. All the candidates who have appeared for the test can visit the official website to check the result. The candidates will have to enter their application number and password to access the result. The candidates who qualify for UGC NET 2021 will be eligible for the position of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). NTA will decide whether the candidate will be eligible for JRF & Assistant Professor on the basis of certain factors which will be explained on this page.

UGC NET 2021: How Eligibility for JRF & Assistant Professor is Determined?
The candidates who are eligible for JRF & Assistant Professor through UGC NET 2021 will be awarded an E-Certificate by NTA. The factors which will be considered by NTA to determine the eligibility of candidates for JRF & Assistant Professor are listed below:
- Only the candidates who come under the top 6% of qualified candidates in UGC NET will be eligible for E-Certificate.
- Only 6% of the slots will be filled by the Assistant Professors. These slots will be filled as per the reservation policy set by the Government and NTA. The slot allocation shall be done equally for all categories.
