UGC NET Result 2021 Likely Today

NTA is all set to release the UGC NET Result 2022 today. The UGC NET December 2020 and June 2021 exam results will be available on the official website.

UGC NET 2021 exam was conducted combinedly for December 2020 and June 2021 sessions. A total of 12 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. NTA, the conducting authority for UGC NET, has released the notification confirming that it will be releasing UGC NET Result 2022 by today or tomorrow. The provisional answer keys for UGC NET have already been declared.

As specified by NTA, the candidates who get selected through UGC NET will be granted an E-Certificate. In order to get selected, the candidates will have to score the minimum qualifying marks in the test. The UGC NET 2021 minimum qualifying marks for General categories is 40% while for reserved candidates, it is 35%. The students who attain the minimum score will consider passing the test and will be assigned the E-Certificate. The detailed selection process for UGC NET 2022 has been explained in the points below:

• The top 6% of the candidates who have cleared UGC NET 2021 will be eligible for the E-Certificate. That means the candidates will have to appear in the top 6% in order to get E-Certificate.
• Only 6% of slots will be available for the position of Assistant Professor. The reservation policy will also be applicable to these slots.

The candidates who have qualified for the UGC NET 2021 exam will have to upload their educational certificates on the UGC NET portal after the UGC NET Result 2021 is declared. After the verification of these documents, the E-Certificates will be allotted to the eligible candidates which can be downloaded from the official website of UGC NET.
