The Faculty of Law, University of Calcutta (CU), invites applications from eligible candidates for its two years Master of Law (LLM) programme for the session 2016-18 .

Eligibility Criteria for Master of Law (LLM) Programme:
Candidates applying for the course should have passed their BA LLB/ BA LLB (Hons)//LLB (Hons)/ from the University of Calcutta. If the candidate is passed out from another university, then the university must be recognised by the University of Calcutta.

Selection Procedure for Master of Law (LLM) Programme:
Aspiring candidates have to appear for a written test of 100 marks to get selected for the programme. It will comprise of a 60-mark MCQ section and a 40-mark subjective section. The content is based on B.A.LL.B syllabus of C.U.
Of the total number of seats, 50 percent seats are reserved for BA LLB (Hons.) candidates belonging to Calcutta University. For the remaining seats, a separate entrance test will be conducted.

Important Dates for Master of Law (LLM) Programme:
The last date for the submission of form for the LLM programme is 23 rd September.
The entrance test will be held on 25 th September .
