Union Education Budget 2022: Agricultural Universities to Revise Syllabi to Meet Modern-Day Farming Needs

Finance Minister opined that it is high time to change the syllabus of agricultural universities to cater to the needs of the modern-day as the present syllabi is becoming outdated and no longer helpful in practical life. Two important aspects, which are highlighted, are Organic Farming and Modern Agriculture. All the central universities, as well as the state universities, will focus on and change the syllabi of agricultural courses . All the universities will focus on the syllabus of agriculture in order to give a lot of scope to Organic Farming and Modern-day Agriculture.  Education should train students in all the aspects of life, which should help them in their daily life. The revamped agriculture syllabi will be very helpful for the students who are going to pursue in the stream and all the farmers to produce pesticide-free crops. To feed India with good and nutritious food and to meet the supply crisis of agro-food items, we must learn to do organic farming.  Implementing an organic farming syllabus in the agriculture universities will become Boone to the nation.

While presenting the Union Budget of 2022 the finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman has made the announcement that  India will gear up to establish a digital university, which will open new horizons to our Indian students and provide a world-class education. The main aim of establishing a digital university is to influence and enhance the learning of our students. The digital university will collaborate with all other central universities to provide required digital services and training.
