THE (Times Higher Education) has released the Impact Rankings 2021. This year, LPU has ranked among the 'Top 200 universities in the World'.
THE (Times Higher Education) has released the Impact Rankings 2021 and Lovely Professional University (LPU) has ranked among the ‘Top 200 universities in the World’. LPU has bagged the position among Indian universities in the category - 'Affordable and Clean Energy. Total 57 universities took part from India and more than 1200 universities took part in the ranking globally.
As per the list, LPU has scored the 2nd rank in India and 59th globally in the 'Decent Work and Economic Growth' category. It is a parameter that measures the universities' economics research, their employment practices, and the share of students getting placed. On the parameter, 'Partnership for the Goals', LPU has jointly ranked 1st in India. Let's take a look at the list of Indian universities/ institutes in THE Impact Rankings 2021.

Universities were ranked on the basis of 17 parameters including zero hunger, no poverty, quality education, good health and well-being, gender equality, clean water and sanitation, affordable and clean energy, decent work and economic growth, industry innovation and infrastructure, reduced inequalities, sustainable cities and communities, responsible consumption and production, climate action, life below water, life on land, peace justice, and strong institutions, and partnership for goals.
