UP Board 12th Exams 2023 will be conducted between February-March. Since the exam is a few months away, candidates must understand the exam pattern and marks distribution. The question paper will be of 100 marks in total out of which candidates will be asked questions from topics like reading, writing, grammar, literature, and more. Candidates are recommended to study both English grammar, and literature thoroughly. To answer all the questions, candidates will get 3 hours and 15 minutes extra to read the question. Students are recommended to also check the syllabus and start preparing accordingly.
UP Board 12th English Exam Pattern 2023
There will be 4 sections in total and here is the exam pattern for class 12 English examination is given below-- Section A of the question paper is a reading test where candidates will be given a passage to read and answer questions from within.
- In section B, candidates will have to write an article along with a letter.
- Section C will have questions from the grammar part.
- Lastly, literature comes in section D where students will be asked questions from prose, poem, etc.
