The authority has yet to declare the official time for releasing the UP NEET UG second merit list. Considering the previous round’s trends, it can be assumed that the UP NEET UG second merit list will be released tentatively in the afternoon or the evening.
Candidates whose names will be displayed in the UP NEET UG second-round merit list will be eligible to participate in the respective round’s choice-filling process. As per the schedule, the UP NEET UG second round choice filling process will take place between September 14 (5 PM) and September 18, 2024 (till 11 AM) .

After downloading the UP NEET UG second merit list PDF, the candidates should enter Ctrl+F to search for their names. If two or more candidates got similar marks, then the authority will use the tie-breaking method. To break the tie, the authority will consider the students who got higher marks in Biology in NEET 2024 exam, for awarding a better rank in the merit list. If the tie still persists, then the candidate with higher marks in Chemistry in the respective exam, will get higher rank.
Lastly, to break the tie, the authority will first check the number of incorrect answers made by the students will get better rank and the candidates with older age will be prioritized in the merit list.
