UP School Holiday 13 September 2024: Due to the adverse weather conditions and adverse rains, the district administrations in Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh, Jhansi, Agra, Kannauj, and Eta have declared a holiday for schools on September 13, 2024 . The decision to close the schools has been made in light of the warning issued by the India Meteorological Department about heavy rainfall in these areas for the next 2 to 3 days. The IMD has alerted of a moderate to high risk of flash floods, particularly in parts of west Uttar Pradesh, which prompted the closure order for the safety and well-being of the students. The closure applies to all schools from Nursery to Class 12th, including both government and private schools.
