UP Schools and College Holiday on January 22UP Government Announces Holiday in Schools and Education on Jan 22: As per the orders of CM Yogi Adityanath, the government of Uttar Pradesh has announced a day off in all educational institutions on January 22, 2024. The holiday has been declared on the occasion of the scheduled consecration ceremony of Shri Ram Temple at Ayodhya on the same day. After the announcement, several institutions have shifted the dates of their academic events from January 22.
Lucknow University has also released a notice regarding the shifting of dates of the examinations the dates earlier scheduled on the same day.
UP Schools and College Holiday Announced on January 22
The schools of all classes and boards have been declared to stay closed on the Remple Consecration date. The decision has been taken to celebrate the grand occasion throughout the state.
The University of Lucknow has shared the revised exam dates for commerce, physics, chemistry, software development and other subjects that were to be conducted on January 22 earlier on its official website. A lot of other institutions have also agreed to postpone their academic exams/events from the same date to the next possible date.
According to the official release, "Considering the cultural and national significance of the consecration ceremony of the much anticipated new idol of Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya Dham, the chief minister has declared a holiday in schools, colleges and other academic institutions on January 22,"
