The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies , located in Dehradun has launched six new undergraduate (UG) courses for the academic session 2018-19. The new UG courses introduced by UPES will help students develop contemporary thinking and provide multi-dimensional problem-solving skills in the specific domain. - B.Sc (Hons) – Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics

UPES Eligibility Criteria for B.Com (Hons) Courses:
- Candidates who have passed Class 12 with at least 50% marks from any streams such as Arts, Commerce and Science are eligible for the admission to B.Com (Hons) courses offered by UPES Dehradun.

UPES Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc (Hons) Course:
- Candidates who have passed Class 12 in Science stream (PCM) with at least 50% marks are eligible for the admission to B.Sc (Hons) course.
About UPES B.Com (Hons) Course:
UPES has introduced B.Com (Hons) course with an aim to provide the knowledge of commerce and trade along with building competence in specialised areas of business. The course will also make students capable of running a contemporary business and pursue advanced research in the discipline. With an objective to promote quality education, UPES has tied up with International Bodies like BRICS Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Association of Charted Certified Accountants and Charted Institute of Management Accountants.
About UPES B.Com (Hons) Taxation Course:
A specific course in Taxation will help students gain knowledge of principles of financial planning, accounting and economic theory along with a specialized focus on taxation.
