UPSC Civil Service Prelims 2017 Admit Card Released

UPSC Civil Service Prelims 2017 Admit Card Released

The Union Public Service Commission or UPSC announced that admit card for UPSC Civil Service Prelims 2017 examination is available for download on the official website of UPSC. The admit cards for Civil Services Prelims were released by UPSC on May 22, 2017. Now, the applicants can download the admit card/ hall ticket from UPSC’s official portal.

According to sources, the UPSC is conducting Civil Service Examination 2017 to fill up 980 posts in various departments. However, qualifying in Prelims examination does not ensure you a job. The applicants need to qualify in Prelims followed by Mains examination. The final stage of the selection process is Personality Test or Personal Interview. Therefore, the candidates need to cross three hurdles to secure a job.

This year, Civil Services Preliminary examination is going to take place on June 18, 2017. Compared to the previous year, UPSC started the recruitment process early. The number of vacancies notified by UPSC was less compared to 2015 and 2016. Last year, UPSC notified 1,079 vacancies.

After clearing the prelims examination, the candidates need to prepare for Mains examination. The Civil Services Mains 2017 examination will take place on October 10, 2017.

For downloading the admit card for Civil Service Prelims 2017 examination, the candidates need to access the official portal of UPSC. The candidates can find the admit card link on the homepage. Just use the application/ registration number to download the admit card. Currently, the official website of UPSC is not working, and it will resume shortly.
