UPSC Civil Services (Prelims) exam scheduled to take place on May 31, 2020, has been postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The exam will now be conducted on October 4, 2020.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is conducted for the recruitment of eligible candidates for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS). The UPSC Civil Services exam includes a Preliminary examination, followed by the Mains examination, and a Personality Test, which is a face to face interview. UPSC has made an official announcement that the Civil Services Prelims exam which was to take place on May 31st has been postponed due to the extension of lockdown. The exam will now be held on October 4, 2020.

The application process for civil services began on February 12, 2020. The candidates have to submit the online application forms through the UPSC official website before the deadline.

UPSC Civil Services preliminary exam will now be held on October 4, 2020, due to COVID-19. The exam was earlier supposed to be held on May 31, 2020.
