UPSC Civil Services 2021 personal interviews will start from April 5, 2022 and will go on till May 26, 2022. The qualified candidates must fill and submit the DAF-II for CSE 2021.
UPSC CSE 2021 Personal Interview : UPSC IAS Mains Result 2021 was released on March 18, 2022. After the declaration of the result, the UPSC has also released the Personality Tests/ Interview schedule of candidates who have qualified the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2021. UPSC IAS Interviews would be held from April 5, 2022, onwards as informed by the Commission in its notification. This leaves candidates a fortnight to prepare diligently for their interviews which will the last stage to become a civil servant.

The e-Summon Letters of interviews will be given to the candidates in some days and can be downloaded from the Commission’s official website - upsconline.nic.in. Candidates must keep in mind that no request to change the date and time of UPSC CSE 2021 interview notified to the candidates will be entertained. The interview schedule given by the Commission will include the roll-wise allotted date and session of personal interview.
Since the interviews are conducted in Delhi, the Commission has planned to reimburse the lowest ‘to’ and ‘fro’ cost of the air tickets for traveling by any airline. This facility is only available to the candidates coming from outside Delhi for attending Interviews/ PT Boards subject to informed conditions. Also, candidates must book their flight tickets only through authorized travel agents to avail this facility. More details about the interview are given in the schedule notice.

Candidates who qualified the mains exam must also fill and submit the Detailed Application Form-II or DAF-II for CSE 2021. The selected candidates shall be demanded to mandatorily provide the order of preferences in the DAF-II form only for those services which are included in the CSE-2021. The preference should be in the order to the interest of the candidate to be allocated to, before the start of the Personality Test. The interview round will be organized in two shifts, with the first or forenoon shift being held from 9 am and the afternoon shift from 1 pm.
