UPSC Exams: Candidates Who Bring Gadgets Inside Centres will be Barred Permanently

UPSC Exams: Candidates Who Bring Gadgets Inside Centres will be Barred Permanently

Ahead of UPSC civil services preliminary examination next week, the commission has instructed the candidates not to bring any gadgets into the examination centre. The candidates who violate the rule will be debarred from appearing for future examinations. The preliminary examination UPSC civil services for the year 2017 will take place on June 18, 2017.

Important Instructions: -

  • The candidates must not enter into the examination centre with any gadgets like mobile phones or bluetooth devices.
  • The candidates must not carry calculators into the examination centre.
  • Electronic gadgets like Laptops and Tablets are also banned in the examination centre.
  • It is mandatory for the candidates to carry UPSC Civil Services (Prelims) 2017 admit card into the examination centre.
  • No candidate will have right to enter into the examination centre without admit card.
  • The candidates must reach examination on time.

Every year, lakhs of candidates appear for this prestigious examination. Last year, around 4.53 lakh candidates took the examination. Qualifying civil services examination is one of the most challenging tasks for the aspirants. The aspirants must overcome three hurdles, i.e., prelims, mains and personal interview/ personality test. This year, UPSC is conducting preliminary examination much earlier than the last year.

The results of 2016 civil services examination were out on May 31, 2017, and a total number of 1,099 students cleared the toughest examination. Following the trend, a girl has emerged as the topper for the third consecutive time. More candidates from Bihar emerged successful in civil services examination 2016.
