UPSC Geoscientist Prelims 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be conducting the UPSC Geoscientist Prelims 2023 exam on February 19, 2023. Test takers who will be appearing for the examination must keep in mind the Do's and Dont's for exam day without fail. Candidates are advised to attempt the UPSC Geoscientist Prelims 2023 question paper carefully as there will be a Negative Marking of 0.33 marks for each wrong answer.
UPSC Geoscientist Prelims 2023: Do's and Dont's for exam day
Candidates must go through the prescribed Do's and Dont’s for the UPSC Geoscientist Prelims 2023 exam day below.
Do’s:
- A clipboard or hardboard can be carried by test takers (on which nothing is written) inside the exam hall.
- Aspirants should possess a good quality black ball pen for making responses on the answer sheet.
- The answer sheet and rough work sheet will be given by the invigilator.
Dont’s:
- The use of mobile phones (even in switched-off mode) is strictly prohibited.
- No other electronic gadgets such as pager, pen drive, smart watches, camera, blue tooth devices, etc are not allowed inside the exam hall.
- Books, notes, loose sheets, electronic or any other type of calculators, mathematical and drawing instruments, Log Tables, stencils of maps, slide rules, Test Booklets, and rough sheets are not allowed.
- Disciplinary action can be taken against the candidates if found violating any of the exam instructions. Students will be straightaway banned from future examinations.
- Candidates are advised to not carry any valuable/costly items to the exam centres. The conducting authorities will not be held responsible for any loss of such items.
