Application procedure for the UPSC Indian Economic Service (IES) and the Indian Statistical Service (ISS) is underway. However, there are only a few days left for the application process. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam will have to apply latest by April 16, 2017.
IES & ISS 2018 Application Process:
- Candidates can apply IES & ISS 2018 through the official website of UPSC.
- Fill in app the details asked in the exam application forms and pay the application fees of Rs. 200 in order to confirm candidature.
- Download the confirmation page and the application form for reference.
IES & ISS 2018 Eligibility Criteria:
Indian Economic Service (IES):
All candidates who seek to secure a seat through this exam must have completed their postgraduate degree either in Economics, Business Economics, Applied Economics and Econometrics from a recognized institute.
Indian Statistical Service (ISS):
Candidates applying for this exam must have pursued a Bachelor degree in with eitherStatistics, Applied Statistics or Mathematical Statistics as one of the subject or a Master's degree in Statistics, Applied Statistics or Mathematical Statistics.

Candidates who seek to apply for either of the two exams above must be at least 21 years of age and no more than 30 years of age as of August 1, 2018. Relaxation will be granted to students of the reserved categories according to the norms defined by the government.
