The UPSEE-2016 examinations passed off peacefully on April 17. Nearly 96 per cent of the candidates had appeared for the examination.
The Vice Chancellor, AKTU, while addressing a press conference in this regard, said that almost 96 percent candidates had appeared for the examination. AKTU spokesperson Ashish Mishra said that the examinations were conducted smoothly. “The answer keys have already been uploaded and the detailed solution will be uploaded on the website on Monday,” he said.
Mishra added that the biometric entry which the university had used this time has proved to be extremely useful. He said, “This biometric data will be matched at the time of admission and hence there will be no anomaly,” he said.
Mishra pointed out that the delivery of papers was done by the Postal department and it worked smoothly. The examination was conducted at 129 centres in the state and eight cities, which included Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bhopal, Delhi, Jaipur, Patna and Ranchi.
There were 21 centres in Lucknow city. For the B Tech courses, nearly 1,42,018 candidates appeared for the examination. The UPTU conducts the UPSEE every year for aspirants who are willing to join in the B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Pharm, BHMCT, MBA, BFAD, BFA courses in various colleges in Uttar Pradesh.
Results of UPSEE 2016 will be declare in June 2016 at the official website of UPSEE.?
