UPTET 2022 Paper 2 has been conducted on January 23 from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Paper 2 was conducted for candidates aspiring to be eligible for Upper Primary Teaching posts. The question paper consisted of 150 questions. While 60 questions were from the subject chosen by the candidate (Mathematics/ Science/ Social Studies), Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I (Hindi) and Language II (English). The marks allocated for each question was 1, and there was no negative marking for the wrong attempt. Candidates clearing the UPTET 2021-22 cutoff shall be eligible for UP Assistant Teacher Recruitment Exam. The major highlights for UPTET 2022 Paper 2 question paper analysis as per the student's reaction are given below:
- The overall difficulty level of the paper was easy to moderate. The students were able to attempt all the questions within time.
- The CDP section was of moderate level. Questions were asked from development, Piaget, inclusive education, etc.
- The Hindi section was of easy to moderate level. Questions were asked from grammar, word meaning, etc.
- English paper was a bit tough for the students. There were some tough word meanings and some questions from the paragraph were tricky.
- The Mathematics section was of moderate level. Questions were asked from number system, simplification, algebra, etc.
- The Science section was of moderate level. Questions were asked from pedagogy, natural resources, food, etc.
- The Social Science section was also of moderate level. Questions were asked from history, geography, political science, etc.
