American diplomat and the United States Secretary of State, John Kerry visited the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi on Wednesday, August 31.
Kerry had an active interactive session with students and talked about how he wants India to move faster in two domains. He said that the nation has to work up to enhance its regulatory process and restructure its bureaucracy in order to make development smoother.
He stressed on how efforts have to be made so that India can move away from coal. He also said how polarization harms a nation and builds up intolerance.

Kerry also complemented the relations of both the nations and said how the collaborative efforts have made ‘the impossible a reality’.
Not very long ago, the campus of IIT Delhi had been a host to Facebook Founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg. On his visit in October 2015, Zuckerberg had stressed on the need to connect India with Internet.
