Anand Bardhan, the Principal Secretary of Higher Education from the state of Uttarakhand had released an order, instructing the inclusion of the 10% EWS reservation quota at the Government-run higher educational institutions. All the government organisations have been directed to implement the order. However, as per the orders of the Central government, rather the MHRD, Uttarakhand will now also offer the 10% quota in the higher educational institutions as well.
