On the release of Author V S Rajput’s new book called the Dynamics of Indian Education, the Vice President of India, Venkaiah Naidu had emphasised on the importance of revamping the education system and policy.
During the event which had been held on Thursday, August 1st 2019, the Vice President had stated that the New Education Policy that had been created will bring forth the long-awaited need for making India a global education hub. He stated that India needs an education system which includes a value-based and holistic development which will ensure that the needed groundwork to develop India as the “vibrant economy” that the country is moving towards.

As per the statements that had been made by Venkaiah Naidu, he stated that the time has come when the country needs to take a step towards refreshing the education system of India. He further stated that he had been for a long time, emphasising the need to overhaul the education system in India. He mentioned that the reason for which he had been emphasising so, was so that Indian Universities not only reached the level of Global Universities but also become the educational and Knowledge Hub that it is.

Venkaiah Naidu further added that with the drafting of the New Education Policy has brought in the required “out-of-the-box” suggestions that will lead India to become the educational or Knowledge hub it should be. The vice-president had also urged and encouraged the public to offer their views and suggestions to theNew Education Policy before the 15th of August 2019.
