Vignan University, Andhra Pradesh will conduct a two-day South Zone Vice Chancellors’ meet on September 28 and 29, 2016 . A total number of 150 vice chancellors from the five southern states will participate in the meet.

Vice Chancellor of Vignan University, Mr. Thangaraj elaborating the theme of the conference said that the focus would be on contributions of Indian Universities to innovations, entrepreneurship and development of skills. The Associations of Indian Universities (AIU) has given the responsibility to Vignan University to host the meet.

Apart from the regular thematic topics, various guest lectures will be delivered by experts in various areas of basic sciences, linguistics, humanities, engineering and technology and so forth.
A total number of 50 VCs from Tamil Nadu, 41 from Karnataka, 24 from Andhra Pradesh, 19 from Telangana and 15 from Kerala will attend the meet. Apart from VCs of South Zone, government officials from all the five states will deliver a keynote address on the activities taken up by governments for the development of skills. Dr. DS Chauhan , Chairman of AIU, will preside over the meeting.
