VIPS Celebrates Founder's Day - Major Highlights

Justice Swatanter Kumar, chairman of National Green Tribunal, calling upon the youth on the National Youth Day , emphasised on creating pollution free environment which is so essential for promoting thoughts free from pollution.

Kumar was addressing the students and the teachers at Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS), in a function organised to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda (January 12) which is observed as National Youth Day. VIPS celebrates this day as its Founder's Day.

He stressed the importance of the sense of responsibility and sense of progressive minds.His speech reminded the significant teachings of Swami Vivekananda; “Arise, awake and stop not until your goal is achieved.” The Justice shared the theory of 3 H; the pertinent qualities every human being must nurture. According to the theory, to become successful, every person must be humble, honest and human. He said clubbing these three elements can help a person grow and contribute to the growth of others.

Remembering Swami Vivekananda, Justice Kumar said that we must develop respect for education, respect for women and respect for the nation. He warned that one must distinguish between determination and over confidence. He shared a valuable advice that pride backed by a negative sense of confidence can be a deterrent in shaping the society. He stressed on the importance of time management.

The visionary chairman of VIPS, Dr. S C Vats, who is the force behind the institution, paid his deepest gratitude to Swami Vivekananda whose profound teachings and sincere ideologies are the backbones of the Institution. He reasserted the fundamental teachings of Swami Vivekananda and motivated each member of the VIPS family to promote Man building, Character building and Nation building. Dr. Vats highlighted on the enrichment of human values, a purpose with which VIPS has been set up. He reminded that VIPS is committed to perfection in education in pursuance of Swami Vivekananda's vision as propagated by Swami Jitatmanand, and hoped that concerted efforts would be made to achieve the highest goal.

Mr. Suneet Vats, Vice Chairman, VIPS, Mr. Krishan Aggarwal, Vice Chairman, VIPS, Mr. Ajay Bindal, Senior member of Management, Prof. I.M.Pandey, Director General, VIPS, and other dignitaries graced the function. The programme started with the lighting of the lamp, a symbol of the source of knowledge, mesmerising Ganesha Vandana followed by Saraswati Vandana.Prof. Rashmi Salpekar, Dean, VLS, extended the vote of thanks.
