VIT Research Entrance Exam (VITREE) 2024 Application Form Underway : The application process for VIT Research Entrance Exam 2024 is underway, and the last date to submit the application form is November 30, 2023 . Candidates who want to sit for the Vellore Institute of Technology Research Entrance Examination for admission into Ph.D. courses in the VIT group of colleges, but have not yet applied must so do by the last date stated. Applicants must check the eligibility criteria for their preferred course stated below before filling out the form. The eligibility criteria, registration link, and the steps to drop the application on the portal have been provided here. Once the application forms are submitted, the examination for the registered candidates will be held on December 10, 2023 , in two shifts i.e., 10 AM to 12 PM, and 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM respectively.

Eligibility for VIT Research Entrance Exam (VITREE) 2024

Applicants must have the following eligibility criteria to register for VIT Research Entrance Exam (VITREE) 2024:

• For PhD in Science, candidates must have 60% in their masters.

• For PhD in Language: Candidates must have 60% in Language and Social Science.

• For a Ph.D. in Management, candidates must have 60% in Business Administration/ICWA/CA.

• For PhD in Hospitality Management, candidates must have a 60% in bachelor's in Hotel Management or Tourism Management from a recognized university.

• For a Ph.D. in Design and planning, candidates must have 60% in their master's in Planning/Design, M.E., M.Tech, MSc (Physiology), or master’s degree in Media Studies, Multimedia, Arts, and Animation in regular mode.

• For a Ph.D. in Architecture and Planning, candidates must have a bachelor's in Planning/Architecture and complete a master's in Architecture/ Planning/Design/Building Engineering and Management in a regular mode of education.

Steps to Register for VIT Research Entrance Exam (VITREE) 2024

Step 1 : Browse through VIT’s official portal vit.ac.in .

Step 2 : On the home page, search for the ‘VITREE 2024 - Apply Now’ tab on the screen and click on it. The registration page will open up.

Step 3 : On the registration page, enter your personal details as asked, and any other on the slots provided.

Step 4 : Ensure that there are no mistakes before clicking on the ‘Submit’ button.

Step 5 : On the next, upload your photograph, signature, and other documents adhering to the rules for uploading.

Step 6 : Press ‘Enter’ to get directed to the payment page. Pay Rs. 1200 in your preferred mode of payment.

Step 7 : Take a printout of the payment challan and the application form for later reference.
